The focus area “Philosophy and Business Ethics” is dedicated to exploring the role of philosophy in decision-making and the ethical implications of business practices within organisations. The work of the focus area delves into how to apply practical philosophy to real-world business situations, including ethical dilemmas, strategic planning, and leadership development.

The focus area “Ecology and New Business Models” specialises on developing innovative and ecology conscious strategies for companies looking to incorporate ecosophical practices into their operations. Through extensive scientific work and a framework of evidence-based decision making, the aim is to provide businesses with practical solutions that rebalance economical, environmental and social interests.

FOCUS AREA: ORGANISATIONAL DESIGN

The focus area “Organisational Design” focuses on the structure and functioning of organisations. The focus area team explores the design principles of infinite organisations including topics such as organisational learning, culture, and leadership development as well as the implications of exponential technologies to understand how these influences organisational performance.

FOCUS AREA: CHANGE MANAGEMENT

The focus area “Change Management” works on topics such as change management frameworks, leadership skills, and communication to understand how organisations can navigate periods of transition. Additionally, the focus area explores areas of behavioural design and neuroscientific approaches to design more effective and efficient systems, processes, and experiences to foster a performance culture.
